Echinacea is a perennial herb native to North America, renowned for its ability to strengthen the immune system and aid in the fight against colds and flus.
Our product, Echinaforce® Hot Drink, is a concentrated blend that contains fresh extracts of Echinacea herb (95%) and root (5%), combined with Elderberry juice. This powerful mix of ingredients is designed to combat colds and flus effectively. As a licensed herbal medicine, Echinaforce® Hot Drink is used to alleviate symptoms of colds and flu.
The Echinacea used in our products is organically grown and freshly harvested Echinacea purpurea. The herb and root are picked fresh and used within 24 hours of harvest, which research indicates makes it three times more potent than other forms of Echinacea.
To use Echinaforce® Hot Drink, follow these steps:
1. Fill the 5ml measuring spoon (included with the product) with the concentrate.
2. Pour the contents of the spoon into a cup.
3. Add hot water and stir.
For adults and children over 12 years:
- Days 1 to 3: Take 5ml (diluted in hot water) five times daily.
- Days 4 to 10: Take 5ml (diluted in hot water) three times daily.
This product is for oral use only. Do not exceed the recommended dose, and do not use this product to treat a cold or flu for more than 10 days.
Each 5ml of concentrate contains 1,140mg of fresh Echinacea purpurea herb extract (as tincture), 60mg of fresh Echinacea purpurea root extract (as tincture), and 1,383mg of elderberry juice concentrate.
Although existing data suggests that Echinacea use during pregnancy does not lead to any adverse effects, we advise against using this herb during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
As with all medicines, Echinaforce® Hot Drink can cause side effects, though they are not common. Potential side effects may include digestive complaints such as nausea and allergies. The exact frequency of these side effects is unknown.
Please refrain from using this product if you are allergic to Echinacea, Black Elderberry, or other members of the daisy family.
